This exclusive camp offers guests a very personalized stay with friendly staff waiting to pamper and cater to their every whim! Echoing the tranquil tones of the mighty river the camp comprises eight bold, spacious tented suites with four double and four twin/triple tents and one suite ideal for photographers, honeymooners or family. The Camp offers fully equipped tents with balconies overlooking the surrounding area. Each tent also features a kitchen and dining area. Picnic breakfasts, lunches, starlit dinners, and sundowners are served on site. Guests can dine at various spots around the camp, often around the campfire. Guests can enjoy alcoholic and no alcoholic drinks in our bar. A variety of local and continental dishes are served at the onsite restaurant. The bar also offers a variety of beverages, wines, and liquors. The Maasai Mara National Reserve (also known as Maasai Mara and by the locals as The Mara) is a large game reserve in Narok County, Kenya; contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Mara Region, Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Maasai people (the ancestral inhabitants of the area) and their description of the area when looked at from afar: “Mara,” which is Maa (Maasai language) for “spotted,” an apt description for the circles of trees, scrub, savanna, and cloud shadows that mark the area. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of Masai lions, African leopards and Tanzanian cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration.
If you prefer to hire a vehicle on exclusive use (without sharing with other clients & enjoying great flexibility), kindly inform the camp manager the previous day. A wonderful way to discover the magic of the Mara from a different perspective…ideally undertaken on the 2nd or 3rd day of your safari (Weather permitting). Pick up from our camp at 5.30 pm by the balloon company’s vehicle & transferred to the launching site. Embark on a 45 min to 01-hour balloon ride over the famous game reserve to enjoy magnificent birds’ eye view of the wild game in this reserve.
